They charge shipping, but the deal is still better than everywhere else. Even Costco is offering a 12 cents hot deal right now. After, you'll pay 10 cents, which is better than lots of other service. Your first unlimited order of 4 x 6 photo prints is only 5 cents each. Its a new service, but definitely look professional. Hi everyone, did you heard about KwikPix.ca? It’s a brand new site! You certainly don't need anything that big for a 12x18. VStitchv, WHY are your JPGs 50 megs? At that size they should print well to any size you want. But we only have printed out 20x30 or something like that i dont remember. But for H&H we upload them and nothing has turned out pixilated. I just bring in my CD of jpegs and they load it into the machine for me (my jpegs are 30-50megs) and they turn out fantastic at 12x18Īt the studio we burn the CD's then drop them off. I became buddies with 2 of the labtechs at Costco. They just warn you up front so that in the event you are not happy with the outcome they are not liable. I have had poster size enlargments made at COSTCO with the little warning and they turn out just fine. The only things that you can apply the profiles to are the prints you pick up at the store.Īnd without the profile the prints are not so great. You can't profile the poster enlargements I was assuming it was my software issue, but now I'm not so sure. Sometimes I can't get the cropping to work and sometimes I can. However, I do have a problem with the cropping. I use a Canon 40D and after resizing the prints turned out well. I've had the same issues and have had to resize for my prints at Costco. So it appears they're just trying to save space and by default use the smaller size. 1 for normal prints (5x faster!) and then one for 'enlargements and posters' When you actually open the File Chooser to select your photos, at the bottom there are 2 options. I don't know about Costco, but I'd bet it's similar to other services such as snapfish, where the photos are automatically downsized to maximize upload speed and minimize storage space.Ĭheck to see if there's anything indicating whether it's a high speed upload or anything like that. Print size Minimum image resolution required I mean, come on, it says that 11x14 isn't recommended? This photo is: 3600x2400 and is 4.1MB. I don't know what else I can do to get these photos upsized so I can print 20x30 or even 11x14. Well my photos, even at a resolution of 3600x2400 are getting that yellow triangle that says, "This photo is not recommended for the sizes indicated". Actually, I haven't printed anything yet, but when you upload the photo, and then select Large Sizes it lists all the other sizes you can have your photos printed to. I use a D200 and I'm having some issues printing. And I've had enlargements done there in the past, all the way up to 16x20. :) Submit one photo to specialty print shops A, B, and C, and also to Costco. I know a lot of you use Costco for your prints.
